When I first started watching Orphan I felt like I was watching The Good Son only with a girl, an adopted girl. The movie starts off a little slow but keeps your attention enough to get by and then it smacks you like crazy with shocking twists. The ending was totally creepy, I was on the edge of my seat and shocked by the ending. The ending leaves you surprised almost as much as the ending of Sleepaway Camp.

Do you think this movie has stopped people from adopting kids? Are orphanages filling up since it's release?

The Haunted bore me

The Haunted Airman was so boring I lasted 1 minute, maybe not even.... I know, how can you judge a movie in under a minute? Well my judgement must be accurate because I just noticed several other reviews stating the same thing about this made for tv movie.

Just because Robert Pattinson was hot in Twilight and New Moon doesn't make this movie worth watching.... Even that poster I saw of him in a bathtub wouldn't get me to sit through that longest 45 seconds of my life.

Watch it at your own expense.

Vampire Diaries ep 9

I'm a little behind on my diaries, I just finished episode 9 and things are heating up like a taco in the microwave.... This episode has a big spell of witchery activity. A Salem witch is back to use her great great great great something or other as a vessel to our world, she's back and has a deal with the devil, ok not so much a devil more like a vampire. I was ashamed of watching this show at first, it just seemed so childish but I'm loving it and each episode gets a little darker and always lots of eye candy too feast upon! YUMMY!

I just started watching this web series called FEAR CLINIC starring Robert Englund as a psychiatrist who tries to cure patients of their phobias, only, he's not so good at it! It's a 7 minute show so if you need a quick horror fix it's perfect, it also stars Halloween star Danielle Harris as one of the patients.

It's actually really good I'll keep watching them. Obviously it would be a whole lot better if the episodes were longer but seriously who doesn't love a Robert Englund horror flick? Even if it is only 7 minutes.

fright night

I had just finished searching for the movie FRIGHT NIGHT from 1985 when a friend informed me Marti Noxon a writer/producer from Buffy the Vampire Slayer & Angel hall of fame would be directing a re-make of the cult classic so yeaaaaaaaa for that!

Halloween night another friend was talking about the original and I couldn't remember the whole film, all that was left were foggy memories. I'm so glad I re-watched it, it was FANGtastic it was fang-FREAKIN-tastic I love the cheesy 80's effects, camp humour, puppets and Al Bundy's annoying neighbour plays the main girl YIKES!

If you can't remember watching this and love camp 80's horror you gotta watch it again and again and again!

SAW 4

It's taken me a long time to watch SAW 4 only because I don't consider these horror films, I think of the SAW flicks as GORE films so it takes me a long time to be in the mood. This in my opinion was the worst of the series, same 'ol same 'ol new killer blah blah blah!

I hope you all had a fangtastic Halloween.... I'm so sorry I haven't been updating, the hotel had no Internet, what are the barbarians?

Friday night was the big finale of Halloween Superstar and not only did I win a big ol' shiny crown and a featured article in Fangoria magazine, but I also won the viewers choice..... Thanks for voting everybody!

Halloween was also a blast, some of the spooktestants drove all the way out to Toronto from Salem to bring in the Halloween New Fears Year!
